Castings -
(i) High alloy steel castings are used because of their superior corrosion or oxidation resistance.
(ii) Welding rods of chemical analysis similar to the analysis of the base metal should be used.
(iii) Preheating and post heating are advisable when welding martensitic and ferritic chromium stainless steel grades.
